The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers will be facing off in São Paulo, Brazil, at Corinthians Arena during Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season. And with that, there is a possibility that one very famous Chiefs fan could make the trip to cheer on the team.
Taylor Swift has been known to attend many of Kelce’s games, and the season opener is always an important one.
However, while Swifties everywhere are hoping she decides to go to Brazil, others are worried what that might mean for ticket prices. And they are voicing those concerns on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“More important than announcing the Chiefs at the Brazil game would be Taylor Swift making a statement saying she’s not coming to the game so we could buy tickets with a minimum of peace,” one fan wrote.
But that wasn’t all. Another fan poked fun at this, posting a video that said, “NFL fans and Taylor Swift fans looking at the tickets for Chargers vs. Chiefs in Brazil.”

“We are proud to have held the first game in NFL history in Brazil, here in our city. The NFL’s return in 2025 demonstrates how prepared São Paulo is for major events and tourists from around the world,” São Paulo Mayor Ricardo Nunes explained. “With the expansion of our entertainment calendar, we are generating thousands of direct and indirect jobs with each event. Last year, with a single match, we had an economic return of US$60 million and the expectation is to expand even further this year. Not to mention the exponential gain for sectors that serve the visiting public, such as hotels, taxi drivers, app drivers and the entire hospitality sector.”
But just imagine how much it will grow if Swift decides to attend.
We’ll have to wait and see.
