The Boston Celtics continued their impressive season with a win against the Milwaukee Bucks, defeating them 113-107 and extending their winning streak. Jayson Tatum was the night’s hero, whose strong performance helped the Celtics secure the victory.

However, the night wasn’t without drama. Tatum suffered an injury scare during the game that briefly damaged his dominant performance.

In the third quarter, Tatum went for a corner three-point shot, with Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo contesting the attempt. Giannis ended up in Tatum’s landing area, causing Tatum to fall awkwardly and injure his ankle. Fortunately for the Celtics, Tatum’s injury wasn’t severe, and he quickly returned to the game.

However, the incident drew some controversy when Bucks head coach Darvin Ham was seen smiling as Tatum rolled his ankle. The reaction did not go unnoticed and raised some eyebrows, especially when a player was at risk of serious injury.

Jayson Tatum Calls Out Referees After Missed Call in Celtics’ Win Over Bucks

Jayson Tatum was frustrated after the Boston Celtics’ win over the Milwaukee Bucks, as he felt a critical call during the game went unnoticed. As Giannis Antetokounmpo was responsible for twisting Tatum’s ankle, Tatum expected to be rewarded with free throws, but the referees did not make the call. Following the game, Tatum couldn’t hide his frustration when speaking to the media.

“I get my fair share of techs throughout the season. Rightfully so, unrightfully so. Certain calls I feel like you can’t miss. Your job is to protect the guys on the court. Protect the shooter. That’s something I could have been out for six weeks. For it to be a no-call, let alone to be able to review it or look at it,” Tatum said.

Tatum, who once dreamed of playing for the Lakers, scored 31 points and 12 rebounds in the win. His stellar performance improved the Celtics to 9-2 while grabbing the second spot in the Eastern Conference.
