Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop sensation Taylor Swift have been dating for over a year and a half at this point, so it’s safe to say that she has been around the team often.

In that time, it sounds like she has made quite an impression on Kelce’s teammates.

During a recent appearance on the New Rory & Mal podcast, Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith opened up a little bit about his interactions with Taylor Swift as he shared a telling story that highlights just how thoughtful, personable, and genuine she is, even despite her enormous fame.

“Just talking to her – she really is a beautiful human being,” Smith said on the podcast.

“She’s awesome. She’s super nice, she’s thoughtful, she’s kind. She remembered my name, my sister’s name, after meeting us months earlier. The biggest thing is just how nice of a person she is.”

This story comes in addition to other stories Kelce’s teammates have told in the past about Taylor baking for the team, making kind gestures to their children, and giving thoughtful gifts.

Obviously, she is one of the most famous individuals on the planet, selling out tours all over the world and breaking records with her music, but it’s clear that the superstar still takes the time to value the people that she meets and interacts with and remember details about their lives.

Swift will likely be spending more time around the Kansas City Chiefs this upcoming season as Kelce has decided to return to the team for another season after briefly considering retirement.

While Kelce concedes that he did not perform up to his expectations last season, he thinks he is capable of doing better this upcoming season. “I still feel like I can play at a high level and possibly at a higher level than I did last year,” Kelce said via Pro Football Talk.

“I don’t think it was my best outing, you know? I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them, especially if you look at my track record and how I’ve been in years past.

You know, I want to give it a good run. I got a bad taste in my mouth about how I ended the year and how well I was playing, and how accountable I was for the people around me.”

We’ll have to see how he performs, and how often his girlfriend is in the stands supporting him.
