For most Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift fans, they have had the Met Gala date circled in their calendars for the past couple of months with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Grammy winner thought to be attending.
The couple has stayed out of the public eye since the Super Bowl, after both have come under fire. The step back has done wonders for the couple, but the Met Gala was thought to be the time they would step back into the spotlight.
But they didn’t, leaving fans wondering exactly when they will be seen together in public. According to TMZ, the last reported sighting was on March 14.
However, with Taylor and Kelce not seen in New York at the Met Gala, many were wondering why, and now we know.
Per multiple reports, the couple was invited, but were too busy to attend.
So … a couple of scheduling conflicts, basically,
Kelce is gearing up for what will be his 13th NFL season, and Swift is seemingly relaxing, as she reportedly won’t be touring in 2025. The couple will ideally get some time to themselves.
But as far as the pair being seen out in public, we wonder if it will ever be the same as it was prior to the Super Bowl.
Having seen how nasty things can turn over one game of football, both Travis and Taylor must wonder if it will be worth stepping out in the public eye as they once did.
Whatever they are doing now seems to be working, and for those hoping that Travis and Taylor revert to their old ways, well, that might not be happening with the couple reportedly loving being out of the limelight.
