The Kansas City Chiefs will have a massive chip on their shoulder in 2025.
Falling just one game shy of a three-peat certainly stung, but the team knows they still have as good as shot as any to return to the Super Bowl in 2026.
Now it appears that Patrick Mahomes’ own brother could be part of that run.
BREAKING: Chiefs Add Patrick Mahomes’ Brother To Roster Ahead Of 2025 Season

It’s not every day a half-brother of a three-time Super Bowl champion gets a chance to play for the same NFL team:
The 6-foot-3, 227-pound tight end has landed a surprise invite to the Kansas City Chiefs’ rookie minicamp, giving him a chance to prove he belongs in the same building as his half-brother, Patrick Mahomes.
Graham Walker didn’t hear his name called during last week’s NFL Draft in Green Bay, but his story didn’t stop there. Over the weekend, he stepped onto the field at the Chiefs’ facility in Kansas City, one of 87 players looking to make a lasting impression. The rookie minicamp runs through Monday, and for Walker, this is the biggest opportunity of his football career.

Walker’s journey has never followed a straight line. He grew up in Vermont with his mother, Jessamyn Walker, and stepfather, Gerry Howatt.
After three seasons as a wide receiver at Brown University, he transferred to Rice University and volunteered to switch positions to tight end. It wasn’t just a gamble, it was a full commitment. He recorded 24 catches for 252 yards in his lone season at Rice before declaring for the draft in January.
While the football world doesn’t know much about Walker’s relationship with Mahomes, the two have crossed paths a few times. Walker recently opened up about that connection in an interview with Seven Days.
“I know Patrick has been watching the games, and he’s reached out and said good things that I’ve been doing,” he said. “When someone who’s accomplished so much can say you’re doing well, it really feels good.”
Despite the buzz around Walker’s minicamp chance, Mahomes is currently unwinding in Miami with his wife Brittany. Tom Brady and singer Jelly Roll partied with the couple at the exclusive Carbone Beach event before Sunday’s Miami Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was back in New York, wrapping up a photoshoot near Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment.
Walker may be flying under the radar now, but with Kelce’s spot locked in and the tight end room open for depth, the door is cracked. If he performs well, he might find himself suiting up in red and gold, just like his famous half-brother.
