Top 10 games of 2025 season: Chiefs-Bills, Vikings-Seahawks rank high on upcoming NFL schedule | NFL.com
1 – Kansas City Chiefs AT Buffalo Bills
Where: Highmark Stadium | Orchard Park, N.Y.
Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes make for appointment viewing on their own — when they are on the same gridiron, it’s a must-watch live situation. Buffalo and Kansas City have faced off nine times since 2020, and while the Bills have won four straight regular-season clashes, they have yet to get over the postseason hump against Mahomes and Co. The influence this matchup tends to have on playoff seeding adds extra importance to the high-powered showdown between two otherworldly quarterbacks.

29. Josh Simmons, OT, Kansas City Chiefs (Pick 1-32)
My final overall ranking: No. 29
It’s rare to find a Pro Bowl-caliber talent at left tackle late in Round 1. But had Simmons not torn his left patellar tendon in October, there’s a good chance he would have been the first tackle drafted. Simmons was playing as well as any offensive tackle in the country prior to getting hurt and could be the Chiefs’ long-desired solution to protecting Patrick Mahomes’ blind side.
2025 NFL Power Rankings: Which teams are most improved post-draft? | FOX Sports
5. Kansas City Chiefs (-1)
It feels almost sacrilegious to have the Chiefs ranked this low, but I’m curious to see how they handle this transition in the team-building process. I think Josh Simmons is a phenomenal pick. But after his knee injury in college, how quickly can he be expected to work his way into the starting lineup? And while I love Day 3 picks Jalen Royals and Brashard Smith, how big of an impact are they going to make as rookies?
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS: DI OMARR NORMAN-LOTT (ROUND 2, PICK 63)
Norman-Lott boasted some of the best pass-rush efficiency numbers in the class, with an 18.9% pass-rush win rate and an 88.3 PFF pass-rush grade against true pass sets. Even if he doesn’t develop into a three-down player, the Chiefs know how to maximize one-gap attacking defensive linemen.

10. Kansas City Chiefs: A
Favorite pick: Jalen Royals was a second-round pick for me all day long. He was injured last October and missed the rest of the season, but he’s a playmaker with the ball in his hands. Now imagine him catching passes not from the Utah State quarterback but from Patrick Mahomes.
One offseason addition for each NFL team that should make fans excited | Yardbarker
Kansas City Chiefs: Kristian Fulton, CB
Cornerback depth was lacking for the Chiefs last season after trading L’Jarius Sneed, but Fulton strengthens that area. He also helps soften the blow of losing starting safety Justin Reid.

NFL fines Falcons $250K, DC Jeff Ulbrich $100K over leak of QB Shedeur Sanders’ phone number | NFL.com
The NFL fined Atlanta $250,000 and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich $100,000 for failing to prevent the disclosure of confidential information distributed to the club in advance of the 2025 NFL Draft, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported.
The Falcons quickly accepted the penalties levied against them in a statement released Wednesday.
“We appreciate the NFL’s swift and thorough review of last week’s data exposure and the event that transpired due to it,” the team said in the statement. “We were proactive in addressing the situation internally and cooperated fully with the league throughout the process, and accept the discipline levied to Coach Ulbrich and the organization. We are confident in our security policies and practices and will continue to emphasize adherence to them with our staff whether on or off premises. Additionally, the Ulbrich family is working with the organization to participate in community service initiatives in relation to last week’s matter.”
Bills adding free agent WR Elijah Moore, source says | ESPN
The Buffalo Bills are signing veteran wide receiver Elijah Moore to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Wednesday.
Moore, 25, caught a career-high 61 passes for 538 yards and one touchdown last season for the Cleveland Browns.
Moore can play multiple receiver spots and joins a group in Buffalo that includes Joshua Palmer and Laviska Shenault Jr., who were added in free agency; 2024 second-round pick Keon Coleman; Khalil Shakir, who was signed to a four-year contract extension this offseason; and last year’s free agent addition, Curtis Samuel.

Chiefs Draft: How rookie defensive end Ashton Gillotte fits in 2025
On the edge
On film, Gillotte displays a tremendous first step and enough flexibility to bend the arc.
Gillotte bends around the arc here and nearly gets Ward for the sack. Good first step, swipes the outside hand, and quickly sinks and puts the pressure on. Good effort, just needs to finish the play. pic.twitter.com/DTTxcbuTWB
— Caleb James (@CJScoobs) April 26, 2025
Starting this play aligned wide on the edge, Gillotte quickly fires upfield. As the right tackle tries to get his hands up, Gillotte quickly swipes them away and starts to turn the corner. While he doesn’t quite bring down quarterback Cam Ward, his pressure disrupts the play’s timing; Miami gains only a few yards.
Gillotte’s hand-fighting (and flexibility around the corner) will significantly add to Kansas City’s defense.
