According to Paulson’s post from April 2025, an unnamed source claimed the info came straight from a girls’ trip involving Brittany Mahomes, wife of NFL star Patrick Mahomes, and several friends, including Swift.
The source alleged that Brittany was passing around a partick larly sharp gossip: that Blake Lively may have tried to initiate an affair with Baldoni during filming.
If true, that might explain Swift’s decision to distance herself from Lively once legal tensions boiled over. The implication? Swift might have been the one who had shared the rumor initially.
Though unconfirmed, this story adds fuel to the ongoing tension between Lively and Baldoni. What’s clear is that Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, launched serious legal claims against Baldoni, including accusations of inappropriate behavior on set and an alleged online smear campaign.
