Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift seemingly can’t go anywhere without being noticed.
The couple frequently draw large crowds when they embark on their public date nights, and cameras are pointed on both at all times during Chiefs games when football is in season.
But after the duo faced some mounting backlash following Super Bowl LIX, for what many analysts believe was overexposure throughout the NFL season, they left the country for a private vacation, and they’ve filled the offseason by taking a few more after Kelce announced he was pushing off retirement and returning in 2025 for his 13th season with the Chiefs.
But just they’ve made it a priority to stay out of the spotlight and take a break from being seen together in public at the behest of their inner circles to let any public backlash die down, that doesn’t mean they’ve spent a lot of time apart.
According to a report from People.com, Kelce and Swift have actually been prioritizing their relationship during a period of time when both have seemingly been under a microscope.
“They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it,” a source told People.com. “They are making the most of their time off together.
They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them. “[Swift and Kelce are] very serious and in sync. They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.”
Multiple reports indicated that Kelce and Swift plan to buy a home together in Kansas City, which will allow them to spend more time together during football season.
Page Six even reported that Swift plans to attend as many of Kelce’s games next season as possible.
Kelce is also preparing for a pretty big business venture of his own, as it was revealed on Tuesday that the Kansas City-based 1587 Prime restaurant he’s opening with Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes is scheduled to open sometime this summer.
