The Taylor Swift movement moment. Wearing a MAGA hat. How it feel to be the best living and blocked from the main stage because of being ahead of my time. (And I mean all of this before I went full [expletive] of course).”

The movement he’s referring to is when he jumped on stage at the 2009 VMAs and interrupted Taylor’s speech. “Imma let you finish, but Beyoncé had the best album of the year,” he said while taking the mic. The Life of Pablo rapper also incited another controversy when he namedropped Taylor on the song “Famous.” “I feel like me and Taylor might still have 𝓈ℯ𝓍 / Why? I made that bitch famous,” he rapped.

In other deleted posts, Ye claimed that Swift had a threesome with two other singers. “Let me give you a case of racism,” and then added, “Harry Styles and Justin Bieber had 𝓈ℯ𝓍 with Taylor Swift from both.” He also expressed frustration about not being intimate with the singer. “I KNOW TAYLOR LIKE HOW THE HELL DOES HE KNOW THAT. I’M ANGRY I HAVEN’T SLEPT WITH TAYLOR SWIFT … YET,” he stated.

According to a source to the Daily Mail, the X posts was the final straw for the singer. “This time he has gone too far,” the source said. “His claims are not just false they are defamatory. This isn’t just [West] gossiping. This is [West] 𝓈ℯ𝓍ually harassing a woman, defaming her and intending to cause harm to her and to her career.”

Swift reportedly filed a cease and desist because she had reached a breaking point with the rapper’s continued harassment and felt that taking legal action was not only necessary, but long overdue.

Just a few days before the new lawsuit, reports emerged on whether Taylor Swift and Blake Lively are friends emerged months after the Justin Baldoni drama. The two have been on rocky terms after it was reported that Taylor wasn’t so pleased with how Blake mentioned her in Justin Baldoni’s defamation case against the It Ends With Us actress.

“[Taylor and Blake] have worked everything out,” a source told Paula Froelich of NewsNation. “Blake apologized and they are talking again.” The two seemed to bury the hatchet and have been taking things slow in private. ”Taylor is annoyed she was brought into this,” a source told Froelich back in January. “She was supporting her friend — and went to her house to hang out, and now that [hangout] is part of [Justin’s] lawsuit. It’s a lot.”
