Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce combined offseason work with being a good role model for the next generation.
Kelce remains hard at work this offseason, despite his high-profile off-field life as part of the most interesting couple in the world. Last week, the three-time Super Bowl champion trained alongside some high schoolers, most notably WR Jazz Lewis, who posted about the experience on social media. Lewis is the son of former Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns running back Jamal Lewis, a former BCS National Champion with the Tennessee Volunteers, a Super Bowl XXXV champion, and a member of the 2000s All-Decade Team in the NFL.
The 5-foot-10, 160-pound freshman plays wide receiver for Chamblee High School in Chamblee, Georgia. You might be familiar with the high school because Pro Football Hall of Famer Ed Reed joined the coaching staff as the offensive coordinator back in January.
Jazz is part of the class of 2028, which means he’s just at the start of his football journey.
“Got some good work in with Travis Kelce this past week, learned a lot from the Super Bowl legend,” Jazz wrote on X.

Jazz was also joined in this training session by his quarterback at Chamblee, Brayden Doss.

As a Cleveland Heights, Ohio native, Kelce is probably familiar with the elder Lewis from his time on the Browns from 2007 to 2009.
Jazz also tagged Tony Villani and Andrew Spruill of XPE Sports, based in Florida. Kelce has done his offseason training with XPE Sports for many years now. If Jazz and Brayden are working with XPE Sports, it makes sense that they would cross paths with Kelce.
It’s also not unlike Kelce to take the time to help influence the next generation of football talent. He’s long worked to make positive strides on young people in his communities, and he’s proven committed to leaving football and the NFL game better off than he found it.
