After dropping as low as 75% during the first nine weeks of the season — even as the team remained undefeated — the confidence of Chiefs fans has returned to where it was in Week 1.
Who starts when Isiah Pacheco returns?

Not everyone expected the 29-year-old Kareem Hunt would be effective after returning to the team after six years. But in many ways, it’s as if he had never left. His average of 3.7 yards a carry isn’t turning heads — but his success rate of 60.4% ranks second in the league. (For comparison, Isiah Pacheco’s highest comparable success rate was 57.1% in 2022). Still, when he returns from his injury, a clear majority of Kansas City fans would like to see Pacheco be the team’s starting running back.

In his second NFL start as the Chiefs’ left tackle, second-round rookie Kingsley Suamataia had a bad day against the Cincinnati Bengals’ Trey Hendrickson. Second-year player Wanya Morris took his place, but has also turned in some less-than-ideal performances — although he just had a solid game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on “Monday Night Football.” Just the same, more than seven in 10 fans would like to see Suamataia get another chance to start.
