Luka Doncic and LeBron James’ connection was on full display during the Los Angeles Lakers’ showdown against the Houston Rockets on Friday night.
Less than a minute into the contest, Doncic and James pulled off an epic alley-oop play that had fans talking.
While surveying his teammates, Doncic effortlessly threw a high pass over Rockets forward Cam Whitmore.
In a split second, James rushed toward the rim, caught the ball and ended the play with a thunderous dunk.
After the play, James was seen smiling at Doncic, while the latter couldn’t believe how it went down. The NBA, for its part, shared a slow-motion version of the play.

Another supporter added, “Two [goats] out there!” “Bron still jumping higher than some of these cats is just insane man,” a commenter reacted. A follower remarked, “Tossing em up.”

The Lakers would end up getting the 140-109 win over the Rockets at Crypto.com Arena.
Luka Doncic led the way with 39 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Meanwhile, LeBron James added 14 points, four rebounds and eight assists to help the Purple and Gold get their 50th win of the regular season.
With the win, L.A. also locked up the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference. It remains to be seen how far Doncic and James can take the Lakers in the postseason.
Still, with their growing chemistry, there’s a reason to be optimistic about their chances.
