The Kansas City Chiefs have been rolling through the 2024-25 NFL season, currently sitting at 8-0, the only undefeated team in the league.

While much of the attention in Kansas City has been on the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, has urged fans to show support for the Kansas City Current. The Kansas City Current is a professional women’s soccer team that competes in the National Women’s Soccer League.

The Current are going head-to-head against the North Carolina Courage on Nov. 9 in the quarterfinal match of the NWSL playoffs.

Brittany Mahomes wanted to make sure that people showed support for the franchise, posting a message to fans on social media. “Let’s gooooo KC!!!” Brittany Mahomes said. “Show up Saturday and be loud!!!

Following her involvement with the organization, Patrick Mahomes invested in the ownership group in 2023. ”
