Time to Look Back at Taylor Swift’s 14 Grammy Wins Over the Years

Taylor Swift was only a few years into her record-breaking career when Barbara Walters called her “the music industry” a decade ago—and now, that statement couldn’t be more true. The singer-songwriter started in the country genre as a teen and eventually fused pop, dance, and folk into her sound as she grew alongside her audience. Thus, her iconic eras were born, she redefined what it meant to be a musician with the rise of streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, and she became a self-made billionaire in the process.

Because of this, she’s earned tons of accolades throughout her nearly two-decade-long career—including 52 (!!!) coveted Grammy nominations from the Recording Academy. With 2025 Grammy noms on the horizon, it seems like a marvelous time to study up on Taylor’s 14 wins over the years. Something tells us she’ll rack up a few more golden gramophones for her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

While Tay was nominated for her first Grammy in 2008 (in the coveted Best New Artist category, no less), she didn’t win her first award till 2010. Luckily, she swept at that year’s Grammys as she took home Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Fearless and Best Country Song and Best Female Country Performance for “White Horse.”

The same year Taylor opened the Grammys with *that* performance of “We’re Never Getting Back Together,” she took home an award for her Hunger Games soundtrack effort with the Civil Wars, “Safe and Sound.” As she should!

Swifties will never forget Taylor’s emotional rendition of “All Too Well” and Red being completely snubbed at the 2014 Grammys, but things turned around a few years later when her first project with Jack Antonoff, 1989, earned multiple awards. The cinematic masterpiece that is “Bad Blood”? Yeah, that also took home the award for Best Music Video.

Something shifted when Taylor surprise dropped folklore, thus earning her a record-breaking third Grammy for Album of the Year. She also performed a medley of “Cardigan,” “August,” and “Willow” with Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner that night.

2023: Best Music Video

Taylor’s “All Too Well” short film won the Best Music Video award during the Grammys pre-ceremony (which isn’t televised, womp). The film’s producer, Saul Germaine, accepted the award on her behalf. She ended up attending the televised ceremony later that night.

The artist’s latest Grammys appearance was full of surprises—yes, including her album announcement for The Tortured Poets Department—and wins for Midnights, ofc. At the 2024 Grammys, Taylor made history as the first artist to win Album of the Year four times.
