When Swift was a teenager, she said she hoped to end up with a romantic partner who reminded her of one of the show’s characters.

Swift was already a famous singer as a teenager, but she still had time to watch her favorite shows.
“I love CSI: Las Vegas and Grey’s Anatomy,” she told CMT in 2007, adding, “My favorite movie is Love Actually. It’s got the cutest ending.”
Grey’s Anatomy had such an impact on her that she hoped to end up with a romantic partner who reminded her of one of the characters.
“I’ve come to the conclusion that the guy I end up with will remind me of the character Denny Duquette from Grey’s. Ha ha.”
Duquette was a character who first appeared on the show’s second season. He died following a heart transplant.

Ellen Pompeo, the star of Grey’s Anatomy, said there were several reasons why the show has been running for so many seasons. One, she joked, had to do with Swift’s love of the show.
“[Creator] Shonda Rhimes is a great writer,” Pompeo told People. “Second, Taylor Swift named her cat after Meredith Grey! Just kidding. It is because of our awesome fans.”
Camilla Luddington, another actor on the show, believed Swift deserved a guest appearance.
“She loves the show,” she told BuzzFeed in December 2020. “I feel like she should just do one episode. I don’t know how it would happen, as a patient or she’s a doctor. But I think that she deserves to come on.”
She is currently planning a future with Travis Kelce
Years after saying she hoped for a partner like Denny Duquette, Swift is in a serious relationship with football player Travis Kelce.
A source claimed Swift is planning her future with the Chiefs’ tight end. Things are reportedly more complicated following his announcement that he would not retire after his most recent season.
“The idea was Travis would win the Super Bowl and go out in a blaze of glory. So they’d have more time to be together and could plan a wedding and a baby,” a source told RadarOnline. “Fans want them to start a family the sooner the better.”
Still, Swift reportedly has big plans for a future with him.
“Taylor has her future planned out to a tee,” the source said.
