NBA Fans Respond To JJ Redick Walking Out Of Press Conference After Lakers-Grizzlies Game

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 131-114 to fall to 4-4 in their first eight games.

The road trip was extremely disappointing, as they went just 1-4.

After the tough loss, JJ Redick met with the media.

When he was on the final question, he gave a short answer and walked out of the presser (h/t NBA on ESPN).

Many NBA fans reacted to Redick’s actions.

@MansandNem: “Coaching about to be way more tougher than he thought. Bro thought he was a basketball genius”

@casualtakeking: “Not even 10 games into the season and JJ Redick is already storming out of postgame press conferences”

@BallLikeRuss: “Streets was saying he was the second coming of Pat Riley”

@cel_posts: “Omg be an adult. Wasn’t even a messed up question”

@GGMU05: “It hasn’t even gotten hard yet. Wait till they lose to the Nuggets, Warriors, Mavs, and Celtics”

@DaGoaT_100: “I guess it’s finally starting to hit him, podcasters can’t be coaches. The wins were from his assistant coaches probably. But don’t be sad, he’s trying his hardest”

@Golden302311: “Lol we not even 10 games in the season and he already done ”

@Handicapper24K: “But I thought Lakers had won the championship after 3 games and having “best coach” in team history ”

Redick is in his first season at the helm for the Lakers.

They will resume action on Friday evening when they return home to host the Philadelphia 76ers in Los Angeles.
