The Los Angeles Lakers are getting healthy at the right time, as LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, and Rui Hachimura are all back from various injuries.
They’ll be tied with the Memphis Grizzlies for the Western Conference’s fourth seed if they beat the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.
The Lakers have struggled with their core players in and out of the lineup, as they’re 3-7 in their last 10 games. James missed seven straight contests with a groin strain from March 9 to 21.
Now that the team is healthy, though, the front office must make tough roster decisions. Jordan Goodwin’s situation is especially pressing.

“This is the 19th and final game for Jordan Goodwin on the active list,” he reported.
“The Lakers will need to convert the Two-Way contract for Goodwin to be eligible for the remaining regular season games and postseason. The Lakers would need to clear a roster spot.”

The 6-foot-4-inch, 200-pounder made his season debut on Feb. 8, also against the Pacers.
He’s started five games and topped out at 17 points, which he did against the Utah Jazz on February 10 and vs. the Brooklyn Nets on March 10.
Goodwin started his NBA career with the Washington Wizards in 2021 before getting traded to the Phoenix Suns as part of the Bradley Beal deal in 2023.
The Saint Louis alum was then traded to the Brooklyn Nets at the 2024 deadline before getting waived and signing with the Grizzlies for the rest of the season.
Goodwin then had a brief preseason stint with the Lakers before signing a two-way deal with them in February 2025.
