Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and girlfriend Taylor Swift both own pretty expensive homes.

The problem is the distance between them as Kelce’s $6 million Leawood, Kansas mansion is roughly 18-and-a-half hours away from Swift’s $18 million New York City townhouse.

Swift was reportedly in the market for a new home in the Kansas City area a few weeks ago, likely in preparation to be closer to Kelce during football season, but now a new report from RadarOnline indicates the couple is planning to buy a home together in one of the unlikeliest of places.

While the duo have been spending quite a bit of time together given their newfound free time following the end of Swift’s “Eras Tour” and Kelce’s Chiefs season ending on Feb. 9, they have reportedly been spending the NFL offseason house hunting in Montana for a shared home where they can put down roots, presumably once Kelce’s NFL career is over, which the Daily Mail recently reported should be after the 2025 NFL season.

“Swift and Kelce love Montana as there are no paparazzi, no pressure – just mountains, good food, and close friends. It’s their happy place,” a source told RadarOnline. “They could see themselves building a life there someday.

It’s the one place they truly feel free.” This isn’t the first time the couple has been rumored to be looking for a home together.

Several reports emerged back in January stating Swift and Kelce were looking to buy real estate together, though no details on where they were looking were revealed.

RadarOnline reports that Kelce and Swift decided on settling in the Northwest after a recent trip to Montana, where they were spotted together, along with Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews, at the Auric Room 1915 restaurant, a hidden speakeasy inside the private, members-only Lone Mountain Ranch.

The establishment implements a no-cellphone policy (guests are required to leave their phones in their rooms or check them at the front door) to ensure the privacy for its guests – something Swift and Kelce have become really keen on recently following the public backlash they experience after Super Bowl LIX.

Multiple reports have indicated that Kelce and Swift have had discussions about getting engaged and starting a family together.

If they were to buy a Montana home together, it would certainly reinforce the belief that the couple is close to tying the knot.
