Chiefs confirm: Travis Kelce Has Made His Decision on ‘Last’ Season With Chiefs

Just last month, there was a lot of doubt surrounding Travis Kelce’s NFL future.

This is after the Kansas City Chiefs star revealed, after their heartbreaking Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, that he was seriously considering retirement.

Kelce put all that to bed by announcing his decision to play on for another season.

The All-Pro tight end acknowledged that he did not have the best game in Super Bowl LIX and that he simply “can’t go out like that.”

As it turns out, however, 2025 will be Kelce’s final season with the Chiefs — at least according to a new report by Daily Mail.

“Travis is going to go all in on this [next] season, as he expects it to be his last,” Daily Mail’s insider revealed. “He wants to retire as a Chief… and his contract is up after this year.

[So] his current idea is to hang it up after this season.”

Apart from boasting four All-Pro selections during his 12 years with the Chiefs, the former Cincinnati star is also a 10-time Pro Bowler.

Most importantly, Kelce has three Super Bowl titles under his belt.

It would have been four had it not been for their devastating loss to the Eagles in New Orleans last month.

At this point, it is clear that Kelce isn’t done just yet.

He is fully intent on making amends and will be looking to make it four Super Bowl rings before he finally calls time on what is without a doubt a Hall of Fame career.
