Steph Curry Gushes Over Wife Ayesha for Her 36th Birthday: ‘A Special Moment Happened’ 🎂

The NBA star called his wife the “most caring and thoughtful person” he knows in a sweet tribute

Steph Curry is setting the husband goals high once again.

Steph, 37, gushed over his wife Ayesha in an Instagram post on her 36th birthday, calling the Sweet July founder the “most caring and thoughtful person” he knows.

“Where do we begin to describe what you mean to me, our family, everyone who’s been blessed enough to get to know you,” the Golden State Warriors star began in his caption. “You light the room up. Most caring and thoughtful person I know. Every role you fill in life you do it with a passion and energy that makes a true difference.”

Steph, just over a week after becoming the first-ever NBA player to record 3,000 career three-pointers, wrote, “A special moment happened back in the late 80’s on 3/23. And I’m forever grateful for it and for you! Love you my woman. Bless up and happy birthday @ayeshacurry.”

The carousel of photos Steph posted for his wife’s birthday show sweet moments of the couple kissing during NBA events and candid solo shots of Ayesha from the NBA star’s camera roll.

Steph and Ayesha share four children: Riley, 12, Ryan, 9, Canon, 6, and son Caius, who they welcomed in May 2024.

Last month, Ayesha told PEOPLE that she’s “so grateful” for the support she receives from the NBA star. “I’d say he’s the biggest supporter for me,” the mother of four told PEOPLE during NBA All-Star Weekend in February. “I have terrible imposter syndrome, and he is always there to encourage me, remind me, uplift me, me, and be like, ‘Hey, what do you need today?’ So from that perspective, he’s always there and kind of my sounding board.”

Ayesha also revealed that her relationship with Steph “always comes first,” so that the busy couple, who first met in 2003 and married in 2011, can be the best parents to their children.

“I think for us, our relationship always comes first. Then we’re parents,” Ayesha said. “And that works for us because then you have two happy people raising the kids in the house. So the family sector in our lives always comes first.”

Ayesha also shared an update on the youngest member of the Curry family. “He’s crawling and laughing. He only says dad,” Ayesha shared. “The older kids, they’re amazing. We were worried about having the six-year gap between our son and Cai Cai, and it’s been magical. He truly feels like a big brother. He only wants to protect him. There’s no jealousy. I love it.”

“The girls are like little moms. It’s the best decision we’ve ever made, honestly,” she added.
