BREAKING NEWS: Travis Kelce Is Barely Recognizable In Photo From 2013 NFL Draft

Travis Kelce Is Barely Recognizable In Photo From 2013 NFL Draft - The Spun

A lot has changed for Travis Kelce since entering the league out of Cincinnati back in 2013.

The future Hall of Fame tight end was the 63rd overall pick of the Kansas City Chiefs where it didn’t take him long to turn into one of the NFL’s best players. By Year 3, Kelce was selected to be a Pro Bowler and by Year 4 he was named to the first of his seven All-Pro teams.

12 seasons later, he’s an all-decade honoree and three-time Super Bowl champ — and he also happens to be dating the most famous woman on the planet.

But fans couldn’t help but notice how different the Chiefs star looked before the accolades and $93 million in career earnings.

“best tight end in NFL history,” a user replied.

“The Best Tight End Ever – he used intelligence, creativity, and critical thinking skills to move this position forward,” another said. “We are so Lucky to have you on our team!”

“From pick 63 to legend status,” a fan exclaimed. “Kelce been proving the doubters wrong since day one!”

“Damn. Travis Kelce looked so slow in college,” another person pointed out. “Def improved that.”

“‘He’s more athletic than people thought he was’ – Mike Mayock (and also Taylor Swift).”

“Time flies,” another user commented.

“Proof that greatness isn’t where you start, but where you finish,” another fan posted.

“His retirement is gonna hit me like a truck.”

Kelce is set to return to Kansas City for at least one more season after February’s disappointment in Super Bowl LIX.

Last year he caught 97 balls for 823 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games on the way to the Chiefs’ third straight AFC title.
