After Isiah Pacheco was sidelined by injury, Hunt re-joined the team and quickly established himself as a reliable offensive weapon.
He finished the regular season with 200 carries for 728 yards and seven touchdowns.
His playoff performance further cemented his value, as he contributed 117 yards and two touchdowns on 28 attempts during Kansas City’s journey back to the Super Bowl.
With a full offseason program ahead, Hunt has the opportunity to build on that success.
With Pacheco expected to retain his role as the primary ball carrier, Hunt’s return creates valuable depth and healthy competition in the backfield heading into the 2025 season.
As he enters his ninth NFL season, Hunt brings consistency and experience.
With good health, Hunt could challenge for his second 1,000-yard rushing season.
