SO HOT: Brittany Mahomes shares a kiss with Patrick Mahomes as couple celebrates Chiefs’ 8-0 start

Brittany Mahomes on Monday congratulated the Kansas City Chiefs and her husband, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, for getting to 8-0 this season. The Chiefs defeated the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-24 at Arrowhead Stadium on “Monday Night Football” to remain undefeated midway through the regular season.

“8 & ZERO 😎,” Brittany posted.

Brittany posted a couple of pictures of her kissing Patrick. The three-time MVP also grabbed his wife’s lower back as they embraced each other. This is common for the couple, who have been married for two years and have been in love since their teenage years.

One of the pictures was from the sidelines after the game was over. Another picture was in monochrome, where Brittany is wearing the same No. 15 denim jacket, while Patrick appears in different clothes. Meanwhile, Brittany wore a matching outfit custom-made for her with No. 15 written, Patrick Mahomes’ number.

Sideline kisses: a customary tradition for the Mahomes

The Mahomes’ public displays of affection are a tradition. Regardless of a game’s result, the couple kisses each other on the sidelines once the game is over.

The same thing happened during the Chiefs’ victory over the 49ers on Oct. 20. Back then, Brittany posted the pictures on her Instagram with the caption, “6-0 BABYYYYYY🔥.”

The Mahomes are a family of four, with a third child on the way.

Although this custom is welcomed by many, it has also affected Mahomes’ reputation as the PDA is not always well-received by some fans, especially after a loss. The Chiefs lost 21-17 to the Philadelphia Eagles last year at Arrowhead Stadium, and a fan responded that Mahomes loves his wife more than the game.

Patrick Mahomes leaves message for his children

However, the Mahomes’ affection isn’t necessarily limited to his wife alone; it also extends to his children, Sterling and Bronze. Before the game, Mahomes sent a message to his son through the broadcaster’s camera.

“I’ll say goodnight to Bronze this time,” he said. “I’ll try to score you a touchdown.”

He did something similar against the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 7, shouting a message for his daughter:

“I wanted to tell my daughter, Sterling, ‘Hey.’ So, ‘Hey, Sterling! Go to bed!”

Mahomes’ team is the NFL’s only undefeated team. The Chiefs look on track for their third Super Bowl victory in a row, a feat unachieved in league history.
