The Luka Doncic-Devin Booker rivalry got a new chapter added to it on Sunday night.

Doncic was the clear best player on the floor when his Los Angeles Lakers took on Booker’s Phoenix Suns at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Calif.

The Slovenian went off for 33 points on 8/20 shooting from the field to go along with 11 rebounds and 8 assists in 107-96 contest completely dominated by the Lakers.

The game also gifted Doncic fans with yet another cold photo of Luka looking like he’s getting the better of his longtime Suns rival.

Booker had a game-high 11 assists but struggled from the field, shooting just 6/17 for 19 points in the 11-point Suns loss.

Doncic and Booker have had beef ever since their teams faced off in the 2022 playoffs, which saw Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks take on Booker’s Suns in the Western Conference semifinals.

The two exchanged barbs on and off the court all series long, with the Mavs getting the better of the top-seeded Suns in seven games.

Dallas’ blowout win in Game 7 was also when the iconic photo of Doncic smiling at Booker broke the internet.

Booker sounded quite somber earlier this month when his Suns beat the Mavericks for the first time since Dallas traded away Doncic.

But it’s clear that the rivalry between the two persists despite one of them wearing a different uniform.
