The Los Angeles Lakers came into Friday’s Western Conference showdown against the Denver Nuggets extremely shorthanded. LeBron James continues to remain out with a groin injury while Luka Doncic was a late scratch due to calf and ankle issues.
The two Lakers superstars joined Rui Hachimura, Jaxson Hayes, Gabe Vincent, Dorian Finney-Smith and Maxi Kleber on the team’s growing injury list as L.A. continues to face a real crisis.
This only meant that more playing time would be available on Friday night for the team’s second-stringers.
This includes Bronny James, who was recently recalled from the NBA G League amid the Lakers’ injury problems. Bronny James started off the game strong, scoring five points in the first quarter.
This included a corner triple over three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.

The league is now facing a bit of backlash from the loud and proud naysayers who continue to question why the NBA continues to give so much attention to LeBron James’ son. “Lol….let’s report on every player from every team draining a 3 from now on please. Sheeeesh,” a comment on X read. “OMG BRONNY MADE A SHOT,” posted a user.
“Wow, a corner three! That’s so impossible to make!” reacted another.

He shouldn’t even be in the league,” declared an NBA fan. “@NBA are a joke riding on a 3 made, what he now 12% for career fml,” said another. “Anyslzing 55th pick isn’t journalism.
Talk more about bronny then what thunder and cavs and Giannis record lol,” a comment read.
While Bronny James does have a significant following among the fans, there’s also no denying that he has his fair share of haters as well. Just like Dad.
