As if Jonathan Kuminga’s return and Steph Curry’s 4,000th three-pointer weren’t enough celebrations for the night, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr reached a historic milestone of his own.
With a victory over the Sacramento Kings, Kerr notched his 557th regular-season win, tying franchise legend Al Attles for the most in team history. On a night packed with memorable moments, the Warriors once again turned an ordinary game into a piece of basketball history.
After missing 31 games with a severe ankle sprain, the high-flying Kuminga made his much-anticipated return to the lineup.
While the Chase Center crowd welcomed him back with open arms, the loudest roars came midway through the third quarter when Curry connected on his 4,000th career regular-season three-pointer—another staggering feat for the greatest shooter in NBA history.

Before Curry, no player had even reached 3,000. With 8:19 left in the third, he became the sole member of the 4K club.
The team honored him with a video montage during the next break, igniting another standing ovation and chants of “M-V-P.”
As for Kerr, his 557th win is emblematic of the dynasty he helped build—one defined by sustained excellence, adaptability and of course Curry’s generational greatness.
As the Warriors fight for postseason positioning, their legendary coach and their transcendent star continue rewriting the record books together. With each milestone, one thing remains clear: Golden State’s golden era is far from over.
