HISTORIC SHOT: NBA Fans React To Stephen Curry’s Latest Milestone – 4,000 Threes

Stephen Curry makes NBA history in Warriors’ win over Kings.

The Golden State Warriors are on fire, and Stephen Curry is leading the way. Tonight, in the Warriors’ blowout win over the Kings, he even hit his latest milestone: 4,000 career three-pointers, the most in NBA history.

The special moment came early in the third quarter with roughly eight minutes left to play. It came after a pump fake over two defenders, which made Curry the only NBA player in history to hit 4,000 made threes for his career.

During the game, the Warriors gave a special tribute to Steph, and he received massive applause from the crowd.

“Steph Curry’s 4,000th three-pointer solidifies his legacy as the greatest shooter in NBA history,” posted one X user.

On social media, fans were buzzing with reactions to Steph’s big night. While he’s owned the record for most made threes for years, tonight he reached a whole new milestone that is worthy of its own celebration.

“Steph Curry isn’t just a shooter—he’s a revolution,” wrote one fan on X. “Redefining range, rewriting records, and reshaping the game, one deep three at a time.”

While Curry only dropped 11 points in the game, the Warriors still managed to honor his legacy by winning the game and not letting him reach his new milestone in a loss.

“4500 is going to become the standard for greatness within 20 years,” a fan wrote. “That’s how much of a game changer Steph is.”

Love him or hate him, Steph has forever changed the game with his shooting and he will always be remembered as the guy who sparked the three-point revolution.

“Curry redefined the game of basketball, legend.”

Along with LeBron James, Stephen Curry is the face of NBA basketball and he’s the most accomplished point guard in the league today. In 15 years in the NBA, Steph is a 4x champion, 2x MVP, 11x All-Star, 2x scoring champion, and 10x All-NBA player.

For his career, Curry is averaging 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game on 44.8% shooting over 16 years. While the Warriors had fallen on tough times in recent years, they are making some noise this year as winners of six straight games and nine of their last 10.

After the win, Curry made a statement to the fans and made sure to acknowledge the gravity of the moment.

“Hit it on the number man,” said Curry. “Cool milestone. Let’s see how far we can push this thing.”

It remains to be seen how far Steph and the Warriors can go this season but we already know that No. 30 is going to deliver some dominant performances down the stretch. Even at 37 years old, Stephen Curry hasn’t lost a beat and he has ambitions to continue this trajectory for at least the next few years to come.

If he plays his cards right, Steph might even be able to climb to 5,000 threes before it’s all said and done. That record would be truly impressive and it was once thought to be impossible in the NBA. At the very least, it would take decades to beat and it just goes to show how high Steph has set the bar.
