The 2025 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and as the offseason kicks into full swing, here’s a look at the Kansas City Chiefs’ current allotment of selections over the course of draft weekend.
The Chiefs entered the offseason with six selections, which included an additional third-round pick (No. 66 overall) courtesy of the trade that sent cornerback L’Jarius Sneed to the Tennessee Titans last year. That total then grew to eight picks when the league distributed its compensatory selections on Tuesday, providing Kansas City with two additional picks in the seventh round (No. 251 and No. 257 overall).
Compensatory picks are allotted to teams that lost significant free agents the year prior and are determined by a formula based on salary, playing time and postseason honors.
With all of that in mind, here’s a look at the Chiefs’ eight current selections in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Round 1: No. 31 overall
Round 2: No. 63 overall
Round 3: No. 66 overall (via Tennessee)
Round 3: No. 95 overall
Round 4: No. 133 overall
Round 7: No. 226 overall
Round 7: No. 251 overall (compensatory pick)
Round 7: No. 257 overall (compensatory pick)
The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off on April 24 in Green Bay and will continue over the course of three days.
