BREAKING: Steve Kerr Makes Brandin Podziemski Announcement After Warriors’ Win Over Nets

The Golden State Warriors went 2-0 in New York, taking down the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks, while going 4-1 on their recent five-game road trip.

Now heading back to the Bay Area, the Warriors are headed back in good spirits after mounting a 22-point comeback against the Nets.

Evidently, falling behind 27-5 — while seeing Brandin Podziemski exit the game with injury — wasn’t too much for the Warriors, who have been red-hot since Jimmy Butler’s arrival.

The young guard exiting the game was quite worrisome, as he was grasping at his lower back while quickly signaling to the bench that he needed to leave the game. Podziemski then went straight back to the locker room to get checked out.

Suffering the injury within the first minute of the game, the Warriors ruled Podziemski out for the game during halftime.

While Golden State was able to rally behind a superb 40-point performance from Stephen Curry, the injury to the young guard was still worth keeping an eye on.

Steve Kerr provides Podziemski update

After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr offered an update on Podziemski, which will allow fans to sigh with relief.

“Doesn’t appear to be serious. Day-to-day,” Kerr said after the victory.

This is remarkable news for the Warriors, who are soon expecting the return of Jonathan Kuminga, who has been sidelined for two months.

Golden State has a 10-1 record with Butler in the lineup. Getting fully healthy and being able to maintain form before the postseason could be massive as the Warriors continue to raise their ceiling on the season.

Podziemski has been a massive beneficiary of Butler’s presence, as his play has elevated since the star forward has been inserted into Golden State’s lineup.
