Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce recently announced his return to the NFL and is set to play in his 13th season in the league.
While the Chiefs tight end was discussing his decision with his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, on the New Heights podcast, the two spoke about NFL Draft prospect Travis Hunter. Kelce believes Hunter is a rare talent, having shown his skills on both sides of the ball during his time with the Colorado Buffaloes.
During Kelce’s discussion about Hunter’s college football career, he mentioned that he was a “big fan” and would seemingly like to share the field with him in Kansas City. “Good luck Travis,” Kelce said, per the New Heights show. “I’m a big fan brother.
Want to come to KC and play both sides?” A move to Kansas City is highly unlikely for the Colorado star.
The Chiefs capped off the year as the Super Bowl runners-up, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the final game of the season.
Hunter is projected to be a Top 3 pick, after dominating both sides of the field at the collegiate level.
During his final season with the Buffaloes, in 2024, Hunter posted 15 touchdowns and 1,258 yards on 96 receptions. After a 9-4 season for Colorado, Hunter was awarded the Heisman Trophy, given to the most outstanding player in college football.
