Arsenal’s youth system has been absolutely incredible in recent years as they have produced a number of excellent players.
Bukayo Saka is a world-class player at this point, and while the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah haven’t quite made it at Arsenal, they were sold for big fees.
Meanwhile, Ethan Nwaneri is becoming a star, while Myles Lewis-Skelly is a top prospect as well.
Remarkably, Arsenal now have another young player coming through who could be a first-teamer before too long.
Max Dowman has trained with Arsenal’s senior team already at the age of 15, and according to Charles Watts, speaking on Inside Arsenal, Arsenal are incredibly excited about Dowman.
Arsenal very excited about Max Dowman
According to Watts, Arsenal are very excited about Max Dowman.
The journalist says that a number of clubs across England want to sign Dowman from Arsenal too.
This comes after Dowman impressed for Arsenal’s U18s vs Manchester United.
“Dowman really did sparkle as well. You can see when you watch them just why there’s so much hype about him and why Arsenal is so excited and why clubs across England are desperately trying to lure him away from Arsenal before he signs that first professional contract,” Watts said.
“The ball just seems to be glued to his feet. Really, really exciting talent. So it’s a shame for them.
“Adam Burchill, the coach, is super proud. I said to the boys after the game that football can be cruel. They’ve given absolutely everything for such a young team.”
Arsenal’s other young talents
Arsenal are very excited about Dowman as a player, but the teenager isn’t the only young star being tipped for big things at Arsenal right now.
Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly are already making an impact at first-team level, while Jack Porter has been tipped for big things too.
On top of that, Zac Shuaib has been training with the first-team this season, and he could be awaiting his debut before too long.
Even away from Arsenal, the Hale End system’s impact is being felt at some of the biggest clubs in the world.
Chido Obi has been tipped for big things at Manchester United, while Ayden Heaven has also joined United in recent times from Arsenal.
On top of that, Mika Biereth is starring for Monaco at the moment just a few months after leaving Arsenal.
Arsenal’s academy system is certainly one of the best in England at the moment.
