After leaking online earlier this offseason, the Chicago Bulls have officially unveiled their new City Edition uniform for the 2024-25 season.
The new look uniform features a white base lined with gold chrome. The iconic stars from the Chicago flag stripe the sides of the jersey, while the “Bulls” across the chest and jersey numbers are written in grey with the same gold lining. Also featured at the bottom of the jersey is a tag that resembles the original marquee at the United Center that read “Home of the Bulls.”
As for the shorts, we see two spotlight-like strips of gold that are supposed to represent the organization’s famous starting lineup intros. The Bulls’ logo can be found on the side of each pant leg.

The team also promptly shared a video explaining the concept and some other images:
While I respect the homage to one of the NBA’s most famous buildings, the uniform falls a tad flat, in my opinion. But, hey, I guess that’s better than doing too much? I just think the NBA needs to stop forcing teams to come up with a new design every season. Give teams a little more time to come up with something, and give fans a little more time for the new look to grow on them!

Anyway, the real test will always be how this uniform looks on the hardwood. The Bulls will wear the jersey a total of eight times this season, and the first game will be on Nov. 23 against the Memphis Grizzlies. The other matchups are Dec. 21 vs. Boston, Dec. 28 vs. Milwaukee, Jan. vs. New York (aka DRose night), Jan. 25 vs. Philly, Feb. 8 vs. Golden State, Feb. 22 vs. Phoenix, and March 29 vs. Dallas.
