Luka Doncic and LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 106-102 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, extending their winning streak to five games.
Doncic delivered another stellar performance with 31 points, two rebounds, and five assists, while James recorded a dominant double-double, finishing with 28 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists.
The Lakers will aim to continue their strong run when they face the Clippers again on Sunday.
Unfortunately for Los Angeles, Friday’s win over the Clippers was marred by an injury to Austin Reaves, who exited the game after just nine minutes due to a calf strain.

Without Reaves, the Lakers will now rely heavily on their superstar duo James and Doncic as they look to push higher up the Western Conference standings.
Reaves’ potential return could come on Tuesday when the Lakers take on the New Orleans Pelicans.
