It has now been nearly three months since Taylor Swift’s record-breaking “Eras Tour” came to an end.
At this point, more than a few Swifties are still feeling hungover from what was an iconic near-two-year, 149-show concert series from the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter.
This is exactly why Swift’s fans have been eagerly anticipating her next album and, perhaps, a succeeding concert tour.
Her supporters, however, might need to wait longer as the “Fortnight” singer reportedly turns her focus to her personal life.
According to a new report from Daily Mail, Swift’s five-continent “Eras Tour” took a toll on the 35-year-old. As such, her plan is to take a year-long hiatus in 2025 — at least in terms of starting a new tour this year.
“Nothing will ever be able to trump the Eras tour and she is so proud of that, but it took a lot out of her,” Daily Mail’s insider revealed. “For the first time in years, Taylor has no definitive plan, she is taking a year off.
“That means that she will not be doing any tours or shows.” Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and recording artist Taylor Swift © Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images © Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images Daily Mail also reports that Swift seems to be heeding her friends’ advice about this being “the perfect time in her life to marry and have children.”
Her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has gone well over a year at this point, and it appears that both of them are ready to take their relationship to the next level.
“[Travis and Taylor] are both in it for the long haul and they both want the same things, which is a forever romance and a family,” Daily Mail’s source said.
Swift seems intent on prioritizing her love life in 2025, which could mean that her music career could potentially take somewhat of a backseat.
