Taylor Swift is currently on an extended hiatus following the conclusion of her near-two-year “Eras Tour” concert series.

The tour came to an end in December after 149 shows across five continents and a record-breaking $2 billion in ticket sales.

For now, reports have indicated that Swift plans on going on vacation with her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, who is also coming off a demanding NFL season.

A new report from Daily Express claims, however, that Swift is actually on the brink of making a major announcement soon.

This comes in the form of her next studio album and an upcoming tour. “Taylor is in the development stages of her new album which will be released at the end of the year,” a source at AEG, the entertainment company that served as the promoter of the “Eras Tour,” told Daily Express.

“She wrote songs backstage on her last tour and bosses at AEG have been told to prepare themselves for another tour in 2026.”

“She really wants to do it again. She loves being with all her fans; it inspires her.”

This report coincides with the latest rumor about Swift’s plans for a new album and a succeeding tour. if these are true, then fans should brace for a major announcement from the “Fortnight” singer in the coming months.

As for the theme of the new album, Daily Express reports that Swiftt has drawn inspiration from her relationship with Kelce.
