Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’s life is hectic. When he steps outside, the three-time Super Bowl winner is everyone’s choice for pictures and autographs.
With the Chiefs’ loss in the Super Bowl, Patrick now has some much-needed downtime with his family and away from the spotlight, and his daughter, Sterling, recently turned four.

As is usually the case with children that age, a themed birthday party is the way to go. Sterling wanted Bluey to be the theme, and in a video posted to Brittany Mahomes’ Instagram page, we saw everything that happened at Sterling’s party.
There was lots of playing and balloons as Sterling clearly enjoyed herself, and one thing we also saw was Patrick being a normal dad.
He wasn’t a three-time Super Bowl winner or the best quarterback in football; he was simply a father who loved spending time with his daughter on her birthday and clearly enjoyed playing with her as well.
Given that we see Mahomes running from edge rushers every Sunday and playing football at the highest level, it can be easy to forget that outside of football, he, like every other player, is just like the rest of us.
They enjoy all the same things we do, just like organizing your child’s birthday party, and it was clear how much Patrick was enjoying himself as he took a well-earned break from the rigors of the NFL.
At the end of the day, while some hang on the results in the NFL, it is just a game, and for Patrick, he looks just as happy playing with his daughter as he does playing football.
