Jorrel Hato, a left-back who can play as a center-back, is impressing at Ajax and his signing is appealing.

In a recent meeting between Juni Calafat, head of scouting at Real Madrid, and Florentino Pérez, the plan was laid out to sign the full-back of the future.

This player, who plays as a left-back, has the versatility to adapt to the center of defense, similar to David Alaba in his best version.

The young footballer in question is Jorrel Hato, who plays for Ajax Amsterdam. At 18 years old, Hato is one of the most important pillars of the Dutch team.

In fact, he is the most expensive player on the squad with a value of 30 million euros, although his teammate Brian Brobbey, a forward, also has a similar valuation.

Manageable Operation

According to Calafat, 40 million euros would be enough to secure Hato’s signing. Despite being valued at 30 million, the Madrid scouting team believes that his versatility and quality make him the ideal signing.

His contract with Ajax lasts until 2028, which adds complexity to the operation, although there is no release clause.

Real Madrid has intensified negotiations to sign the Dutch center-back. Although Hato has been at Ajax for a short time, he has proven to be one of the best in his position. The idea is for the player to join the white project next season.

To finance this signing, it is expected that Real Madrid will sell a footballer. Although Aurélien Tchouaméni was the first name on the list of departures, his versatility as a midfielder and center-back makes him non-transferable. Additionally, Ancelotti has a lot of confidence in the Frenchman.

With this move, Real Madrid continues with its plan to strengthen the defense with young and promising players. Jorrel Hato could be the next big signing in the Madrid defense.
