Before Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift hard-launched their relationship in September 2023, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end had told his brother, Jason Kelce, about his budding romance with the pop star.

Naturally, the former Philadelphia Eagles star was stunned by the admission his brother made.

Jason Kelce revealed as much when he appeared as a guest on “The Steam Room” podcast hosted by Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson.

When the discussion shifted to the Kelces’ “New Heights” podcast and how they have gotten a different set of viewers because of the Swifties, Johnson had to ask the former NFL star about when he learned that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were dating. “Like, I remember the first time he said he was hanging out with her and I remember just being like, ‘Are you kidding me?

Like you’re hanging out with Taylor Swift? That’s insane, that’s awesome for you.”

The retired NFL center went on to discuss how Travis Kelce seemed different ever since he started his relationship with Taylor Swift, noting that he just knew his brother “really, really liked her” from the start.

To be fair to Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce’s revelation about dating Taylor Swift was certainly surprising. To recall, just two months prior to their hard launch in a Chiefs game, the Kansas City star was just shooting his shot to the “Bad Blood” hitmaker in their podcast.

Over a year into Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship, though, it sure looks like the power couple has gotten stronger and closer to their respective families.
