The Kansas City Chiefs finished the season with a 17-3 record, including the postseason.
Kansas City entered the postseason as the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a 15-2 record. The Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills and the Houston Texans in the playoffs before getting blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
Following a 40-22 loss to the Eagles, the Chiefs entered a critical offseason, looking to keep their championship roster intact.
One of the notable names in Kansas City’s offense is running back Isiah Pacheco, who missed most of the regular season with a broken right fibula suffered in Week 2.
After the season, Pacheco earned the 2024 Ed Block Courage Award for the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Congratulations, Pop,” posted the Chiefs.
The Ed Block Courage Award is an annual award given to a player who exemplifies inspiration, sportsmanship and courage, as voted on by teammates. The award is named in memory of Ed Block, the head athletic trainer of the Baltimore Colts from 1954 to 1977.
During the 2024 season, Pacheco appeared in seven games with 83 carries for 310 yards and one touchdown.
The seventh-round pick in the 2022 draft appeared in all three playoff games but had just 54 total yards rushing and receiving.
