Tottenham captain’s left training ground fuming as future

It seems the media just can’t get enough of putting Tottenham in the headlines.

Once again, the Spurs captain is at the centre of discussion.

For quite some time now, the Heung-Min Son has been the subject of comments that, for us fans, are far from pleasant. But how much of it is actually true?

Heung-Min Son has raised concerns due to a noticeable dip in his performances on the pitch.

Once regarded as a ‘talisman’ for Tottenham, he is now falling out of favour with many, as he has not quite lived up to expectations—at least compared to previous seasons.

As we’ve already mentioned, journalists and analysts have weighed in on the matter, with most now questioning whether he is still ‘captain material’.

According to a new report from GIVEMESPORT, the return of previously injured players now puts the forward’s spot in the team under serious threat.

The outlet claims Tottenham have already taken note of Son’s poor form, and he is expected to have less game time now that players like Wilson Odobert and Brennan Johnson are back.

Additionally, young talents such as Mathys Tel are also in the mix to compete for a place in the squad.

In fact, it is said that the captain now ‘struggles’ to make the starting XI when all attacking options are available.

Tottenham captain could be on his way out

So, what does the future hold for the Spurs skipper? Will he actually be replaced?

One might assume that, after years of dedication to the club, he would retain his place. But that may not be the case.

Speculation has been growing for some time that Heung-Min Son could be sold.

Strong rumours have linked him with a move away, with Saudi Arabian clubs reportedly interested, and even Barcelona keeping a close eye on him during the last transfer window.

His future remains uncertain, and while many supporters would be devastated to see him leave, perhaps elsewhere he would get the recognition he truly deserves.

Heung-Min Son’s contract with Spurs runs until June this year, and once it expires, we may no longer see him wearing the Lilywhites’ shirt.
