BREAKING NEWS: Celtics Jaylen Brown Sounds Off On Warriors Arena

Boston Celtics Jaylen Brown sounded off at the Golden State Warriors arena.

Home is where you make it, and according to Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, isn’t an adequate refuge. Following the odd happenings of the 2025 NBA All-Star weekend, Brown sounded off on the Golden State Warriors arena.

Since the Celtics won the 2024 NBA championship, Brown has exuded a vastly different confidence from before hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy. Brown went from going at Nike and Team USA during the summer to now taking shots at one of the best players of all time by verbally attacking the legitimacy of the arena for which his greatness helped build.

A reporter asked about the possibility of Boston hosting an All-Star Game, to which Brown bluntly responded.

“They got the craziest fans in the world in Boston… it kinda seemed like it was a little empty in here tonight,” Brown said. “I don’t think in Boston that would happen.”

Brown scored 12 points in the two games of the tournament-stye All-Star Game. But his postgame comments were a shot at the 2025 All-Star Game MVP Stephen Curry and his home crowd.

All-Star crowds don’t always reflect the city that hosts the event. Due to the spiked ticket prices, instead of local fans attending, celebrities, out-of-town wealthy people, and corporate company employees sit in the stands, leading to lessened energy throughout the event.

However, to Brown’s credit, the televised broadcast revealed many empty seats during the 2025 All-Star event.

Still, for Chase Center to host one of the most infamous All-Star games of all time is a double-edged sword. Although fans will remember the event, it’s not a ringing endorsement for the NBA.
