Arsenal are currently grappling with an injury crisis up front but could soon receive a significant boost. According to recent reports, both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli may return to action after the next international break.
The Daily Mirror has revealed that the two wingers could be available for Arsenal’s first match in April, a home game against Fulham on April 1. Their return would be a huge lift for the Gunners’ title push, especially with key players like Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus sidelined for extended periods.
Martinelli’s injury occurred during the Carabao Cup semi-final loss to Newcastle United, though the damage was less severe than initially feared. The winger has been steadily progressing, having participated in Arsenal’s warm-weather training camp in Dubai last month.
Meanwhile, Saka, who underwent hamstring surgery in December, has been progressing well in his recovery.
He was recently seen in the gym as part of his rehabilitation, and the initial plan was for him to return to training by the end of February, with hopes of being ready for selection in March.
