Kylie Kelce has Taylor Swift’s back after the pop star was booed at Super Bowl LIX.
Kelce, 32, subtly supported Swift, 35, by “liking” a Wednesday, February 12, Instagram post about the viral moment. The upload, shared by Sports Illustrated, featured quotes of Erin Andrews defending the Grammy winner against Philadelphia Eagles fans who booed her at the Sunday, February 9, championship game.
“I feel bad for the most famous, amazing woman in the world who f—ing gets booed at the Super Bowl. Get out of here,” Andrews, 46, said on the Thursday, February 11, episode of her and Charissa Thompson’s “Calm Down With Erin and Charissa” podcast. “She holds — I mean, she probably holds the record in every stadium — the attendance record in the [Caesars] Superdome as an individual, as one individual standing up on that stage rocking the world.”
Thompson, 42, went on to add, “Taylor, we all know Erin and I’s affinity for her. She handles everything so well. And so does Travis. … He handles this so well. … They both handle [things] with so much grace.”
Swift was briefly shown on the Jumbotron while cheering on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs during Sunday’s Super Bowl. She appeared confused after her big screen appearance prompted boos from the opposing team’s fans. “What’s going on?” she was seen asking her friend Ice Spice. (The Eagles dominated against the Chiefs with a winning score of 40-22.)
Kylie, Andrews and Thompson are among several celebrities who have come to Swift’s defense after the big game. “I love you @taylorswift13,” Serena Williams, who made a cameo during Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show performance, tweeted on Sunday. “Don’t listen to those booo!!”

Eagles running back Saquon Barkley said he didn’t understand why Swift was “getting hate” at the big game during a Wednesday interview on The Howard Stern Show. “She’s there supporting her significant other and she’s made the game bigger,” he stated. “In football, we’re all about, how can we expand the game and make it more [international]? We’re traveling to Brazil and we’re traveling to Mexico, and apparently, we’re traveling to Australia soon, so we’re trying to expand the game. Her being a part of it’s only helping that, so I don’t get the slack that she’s getting.”
Kylie likely witnessed the booing moment in person, as she attended the Super Bowl with her husband, Jason Kelce. She and Swift have formed a friendship since the singer began dating Travis, 35, in 2023.
Earlier this week, Kylie revealed that she and Jason, 37, learned about Taylor and Travis’ romance before they went public in September 2023. However, she did not meet Taylor in person until they both attended a Chiefs versus Buffalo Bills game in January 2024.

“People are deeply disturbed by this,” Kylie said on Wednesday’s episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. “There was, like, all this stuff leading up to it [the meeting] about, ‘Well, why haven’t they met, they’re avoiding each other.’ I’m not avoiding anyone.”
She added, “It was funny to me because I kept saying to people, ‘I didn’t meet Travis for probably close to a year when Jase and I were dating.’”
