1. Corset Tops

When Taylor Swift compared herself to an “old cardigan,” she couldn’t have been more wrong. Because the singer has a favorite top and it’s without a doubt the corset style. Red carpets, after-parties, game days, sold-out shows—you name it, she’s probably worn a corset top there. And iterations run the gamut. Swift has worn satin styles, tapestry takes, denim versions, and corsets covered completely in rhinestones. Take a page out of Swift’s book and pop one on with any given pant/skirt style for a look worthy of an international pop star.

2. Over the Knee Boots

A thigh-high boot must hate to see Taylor Swift coming. The singer has more styles in her repertoire than 2017 Ariana Grande. She’s partial to the classic black leather, but the pop star has also worn white and red styles for football games, and even has a snake-embossed brown pair, for Easter Egg purposes. These baddies play best with short-shorts, cropped minis, and oversized shirts worn as dresses—all combinations Swift has personally sported on multiple occasions.

3. School Girl Skirts

All the camo print and snakeskin in the world can’t keep Swift from her rightful place, as the poster child of the “dark academia” movement. In between shows, the star reverts back to her natural state of being—and 9 times out of 10, that means a pleated mini skirt. She mixes and matches the school girl favorite with bodysuits and button-downs and sweatshirts and crop tops—essentially, every type of blouse in existence. 4. Plaid Trench Coats

Swift has never said no to a plaid print in her life, but few garments have seen more airtime in the A-lister’s wardrobe than the classic trench coat. Something about the style feels collegiate and distinctly British—and as a self-described “Tennasee Stella McCartney,” this absolutely tracks for Swift. Pop one on over black trousers or a mini dress to give off a similar vibe.

As music’s resident “good girl,” many of Swift’s favorite outfits toe the line between sex appeal and innocence. She loves to balance a revealing neckline or short hem with a long coat or thigh-grazing boot style. This combo falls directly into that category. 6. Preppy Leather Coats

7. High-Glamour Faux Fur

Swift’s sparkles-and-fur look is most closely associated with her Midnights album, but the “Anti-Hero” singer has been popping on plush coats for several eras now. Though the star famously paired a hot pink coat with a bikini in her “You Need to Calm Down” video, she typically layers the luxe outerwear over glitzy mini dresses, doubling up on extravagance. The opulent look is a winner for girls’ nights, date nights, and every manner of cocktail party.
