Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl LIX appearance was a hot topic, as fans and the media alike eagerly anticipated the pop star’s arrival at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.
At the time, social media platforms and publications closely tracked every move of the Grammy-winning artist, with one incident going viral after an unexpected turn involving the 35-year-old music sensation.
Days after the big game, a photo featuring Swift quickly went viral.
The image showed the singer, dressed in a white sleeveless top, crystal-embellished denim shorts and knee-high white boots, exiting the bathroom at the Superdome with her bodyguard Drew.
However, the post on X sparked massive debate from fans, with some expressing their concern about Swift’s safety and privacy.
“It’s not easy to be famous,” a user commented.
“She can’t do anything without being noticed,” a fan wrote.
A commenter also pointed out the importance of the pop star having a bodyguard at all times.
“Drew is literally her shadow. I have so much respect for him and nobody dared cross him. He may look nice, but his sole purpose is to make sure nobody unalives her, which is terrifying. It allows her to have a NORMAL life. Bro will take someone DOWN and OUT in the blink of an eye.”
Meanwhile, some were saddened by the fact that Swift’s privacy is constantly compromised.
“It’s honestly quite sad,” one wrote, while another user added, “I know. How sad is that? We all love Drew, but the fact he has to stand outside her stall.”
The same goes for a fan who said, “It makes me so sad that she can’t even go to the bathroom alone.”
“Poor Tay. She’s living in a fishbowl for the rest of her life,” agreed another.
Taylor Swift’s longtime bodyguard Drew gained attention after Swifties noticed his constant presence in her life, from attending Chiefs games to her record-breaking “Eras Tour.”
