Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by Everton in the final Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park. The Reds missed the chance to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to nine points, as Everton equalized in stoppage time.

In the second half, Mohamed Salah gave Liverpool the lead, but James Tarkowski’s late equalizer meant the match ended in a draw. As a result, Liverpool’s lead over second-place Arsenal is now seven points, with no game in hand.
