James Maddison has named a player who is sometimes seen as an ill-disciplined hot-head as the most underrated Tottenham Hotspur player.

However, despite the performances of a few of these players, Tottenham midfielder James Maddison has given his thoughts on whom the most underrated player is at Hotspur Way.

James Maddison names Cristian Romero Spurs most underrated player
Speaking on JD Sports, James Maddison was asked to name one of the most underrated players at Tottenham Hotspur.

According to the midfielder, the most underrated player in Spurs at the moment is Cristian Romero a player often viewed as an ill-disciplined hot-head.

He said: “Underrated? Cristian Romero. Top, top centre-back. For some reason in England, I feel like he has the perception of being a hot-head who gets a lot of red cards and isn’t disciplined, but it’s the opposite, he’s a World Cup winner and he’s a top player.”
