Ever since they began dating, engagement rumors have followed Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift wherever they go, so, of course, the Super Bowl 2025 would be no exception.
But could he really propose during the Big Game?
Travis Kelce is very much aware that all eyes will be on him during the Super Bowl, not only as a player but as a person, which comes with the territory of having a superstar girlfriend.
Last year, the pair made headlines for kissing and hugging after the Kansas City Chiefs won the game, and Taylor Swift is once again expected to jet off to New Orleans to attend the Super Bowl alongside Kelce’s family.
The natural conclusion is that they have to step it up for their celebrations if the Chiefs do win this year again — which, I mean, there’s only a 50% chance.
Last year, Swift donned multiple references to Kelce in her Super Bowl ‘fit and one way to take it the extra mile would certainly be with an engagement ring, but could it happen?
What has Travis Kelce said about proposing?
Per People, when asked by a reporter if he was planning to pop the question during the Super Bowl, Kelce simply smiled at the camera and answered: “Wouldn’t you like to know.” If we really dig deep into his answer, that could translate to 1) Shut up, 2) No, 3) I’m planning something, or 4) A combo of all the above.

If we can’t get the answer straight from the source (and rightfully so), we might as well look to the stars and, according to them, a proposal is not likely to happen. “The moon will be in Cancer, which is fortunate, but it’s in aspect to Mars retrograde.

So, what can we expect?
In their year and a half-ish together, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have not shied away from showing their love to each other openly, but a public proposal might be taking it too far. So, will Travis Kelce propose to Taylor Swift in public at the Super Bowl?
Many signs point to no, but I guess we’ll have to wait until the actual Super Bowl to see — win or lose. We can for sure expect Swift to come with a look though — and experts and Swifties are already picturing her.
