12 hours after the Jimmy Butler trade, the Miami Heat have executed another agreement, involving one of the players they received.

Along with Andrew Wiggins, the Miami Heat landed PJ Tucker and Kyle Anderson. For one of them, it was not even worth unpacking his bags.

Shams Charania has confirmed the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat have agreed a trade.

New trade for PJ Tucker

The move benefits the Miami Heat as it moves the team under the first apron. Financially it makes sense, with Davion Mitchell set to enter free agency in the summer.

PJ Tucker, it has been a whirlwind few days. He is now on his fourth team in five days, having begun the week on the Clippers.

With the trade deadline set to pass, PJ Tucker can at least prepare to stay in Toronto until the end of 2024-25.
