BREAKING: Andy Reid Announces Big Chiefs Injury News to Begin Super Bowl Week

The back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs are on the cusp of history, as they are trying to win their third consecutive title, which has not been done in the Super Bowl era.

If the Chiefs want to accomplish this historic feat, they’ll have to defeat a familiar foe as they will play the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 at Caesars Superdome. Kansas City’s road to a three-peat started with a 38-35 win over the Eagles in Super Bowl 57.

With that loss still fresh in the minds of the Eagles, the Chiefs must expect Philly QB Jalen Hurts and the rest of the team to bring their A-game.

On Tuesday, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid met with the media again after speaking with them during Super Bowl Opening Night. The KC coach provided a positive injury update to kick off the week leading into the big game.

According to Nate Taylor of The Athletic, Reid said his team has no injuries ahead of their on-field preparation this week for Super Bowl 59.

If you are a Chiefs fan, you are ecstatic that the team has a clean bill of health heading into the Super Bowl. Before the Chiefs departed for New Orleans, they held a few practices in Kansas City.

The Chiefs had five players on their injury report last week, but at least four were listed as full participants on Friday. Skyy Moore was the only player on the Chiefs’ injury report with an injury designation.

The former second-round pick was a limited participant in last week’s practice with an abdomen injury and was estimated as doubtful. Moore had his practice window opened up, giving him a chance to play in the Super Bowl.

With the Chiefs having all their key players ready to go, it’s no surprise why the oddsmakers like their chances to win the Super Bowl. Kansas City is a 1.5-point favorite over the Eagles to win the big game on FanDuel Sportsbook.
